Health Wealth - Achieving Lifelong Happiness Through Good Health

What is the balance in your health wealth account? It's impossible to be truly happy if you don't have good health. This is the foundation of a beautiful life, and includes good nutrition, fitness, good mental health, and great health maintenance by staying on top of things.

Start banking your health wealth today. How many people have you known who say, if only I won the lottery I could be truly happy? And how many say this while holding a cigarette or their fifth beer in one hand? Winning the lottery may be nice for taking care of material needs and wants, but happiness is more ephemeral, and exists beyond just material things. Good health is part of this. How do you describe that feeling of energy you have when things are really working properly in your body? And when they don't work right, you are brought down to earth, anchored by the flaws in your physical body.

Health wealth does not come out of a bottle, or by taking certain pills three times a day. It comes from working at it. Start with your newly acquired mindset always bearing in mind that the Law of Attraction attracts to you everything you need, according to the nature of your thought. Your environment, your health and financial condition are the perfect reflection of your habitual thinking. Thought rules the world!

Here are your new personal rules:

  1. Eliminate all your bad habits: smoking at all, drinking to excess, any sort of substance abuse. Replace them with healthy ones: snacking on fresh vegetables, taking a daily walk for fun, enjoying the outdoors.
  2. Start going to a doctor religiously, and have all the recommended tests for your age, sex, and family history. Treating physical problems immediately keeps your body in top shape.
  3. Remember that vigorous physical activity releases endorphins, which improve your mood. Daily exercise can lead to a happiness boost every morning, as well as creating underlying good health.
  4. Learn about nutrition, and set rules for yourself for healthy eating. The food you put in your mouth is the fuel your body runs on. If the fuel is of poor quality, you can expect the results to be less than good.
  5. Quit worrying about things, and start doing something to improve them. Worry is a stress on the immune system, and leads to a downward spiral of unwellness. Whether you are worried about finance, hate your job, or have concerns about your health, taking steps today to eliminate that worry will make your life better right away.
  6. If you hate your job, change it. If you hate your life, change it. No one can improve their health and happiness when living in such a negative atmosphere.
  7. Get involved with other people. Those who love and are loved by others find that their lives fill with abundance: wealth, health, happiness. Whether you do it through church, a large family, many friends, or volunteering, seek out positive human contact.
  8. Treat yourself. The search for good health does not mean the complete elimination of chocolate cake from your life. A long-ago Greek philosopher, Epicurus, defined the proper way to lifelong happiness as moderation in all things. Enjoy wonderful, but unhealthy things, once in a while.

Good health, while it can generate happiness, is also brought about by happiness. What makes you happy? For most people, it's having enough wealth to not have to worry, and having the freedom and opportunity to do what you love doing, while knowing you are making a difference in the world. How many unhealthy entrepreneurs do you know? Not many. Good health generates energy – but the energy from doing what you love generates good health. You can't have one without the other.

You might try looking at it as health wealth – an abundance of wellness leading to an abundance in life. When you have an abundance of health, you are truly rich.
