Don't fool yourself. For most
people
who start working from home, health and fitness suffer. You don't have
the fast food to worry about, but you do have the jar full of cookies
downstairs in the kitchen. And while you think you're going to work
out, you'll quickly discover that you don't have time. Instead of
allowing your home work to dictate your health, try the following
health and fitness tips.

Health
Fitness Tip:
Eat properly. Don't snack on cookies and soft drinks; instead, stock
your refrigerator with healthy foods, like fresh vegetables and fruit
and real milk. Don't have time to cook lunch? No problem! Just
pre-prepare a week's worth of food on one day each week: chop up your
veggies into snack-sized bites, grill chicken for warming up later, and
organize your lunchmeats. For even better time management, package your
week's foods individually, using baggies and reusable containers, so
they're super-fast to pull out and heat up, or just snack on raw.

Fitness Tip:
Because a Home Based Business tends to be more sedentary than any other
work (no driving to work, no rush hour traffic, no running upstairs,
downstairs in the office building, etc), gaining weight may become a
challenge for some individuals. And, if you are like me with a hobby of
not only cooking and baking, but eating it as well, you will be pleased
to discover the MOST IMPORTANT “nutrient” you can
add to your daily consumption. I was very happy to discover that
without changing anything in my diet intake except washing everything
down with pure,
ionized and alkaline water, I burned some unsightly fat
right around my waist just by drinking it.
If
the water isn't being absorbed into our cells, it doesn't matter how
good your diet is or how many supplements, tablets, vitamins, powders
or juices you take or drink.
I get this water from my very own
and
private
“well” I recommend that you too discover
for yourself. You can thank me later. Please be advised that the
generally recommended 8 glasses of water a day is rather misleading
information. For every 33 Lbs (15 kg) of your bodyweight, at least 17
oz (half a liter) of pure,
alkaline and ionized water should be
consumed. You need to drink at least 30% more, any given day when you
drink 2 or three cups of coffee. Coffee and alcohol dehydrate your
body. You will also experience that while your body is properly
hydrated, that even after when your birthday party gets a bit out of
hand, no hang-over in the morning will terrorize your head.
Many people also experience an
amazing discovery that when they have evenly and properly hydrated
their body, it will reward them with significantly reduced snoring or
entirely silent night for their spouses and the neighborhood.
Experience the real magic of what your body truly craves.
Health
Fitness Tip:
Exercise every day. Sure, the fitness guides recommend every other day,
but what happens when you work from home? All the days blend together.
You skip a day, saying you'll pick it up the next day, but you don't.
Pretty soon, you exercise sporadically, if at all. Instead of falling
into this trap, focus on health and fitness every day. Work out a
couple times each day, for short periods of time. Use your workouts as
a way to take a break from work, or to distress. And make sure you
don't skip a single one.
Try exercising with the whole family,
not just alone. The Kennedy's did this; their rough-and-tumble family
sports were a key to their later business and political success,
providing each family member with a route to fitness as well as a way
to push themselves into excelling. If you have a large family, and
especially if you have a lot of boys, play football or street
basketball during at least some of your health and fitness breaks.
You'll quickly find that family exercise promotes bonding and overall
family fitness, as well as being a great stress reliever for you.

Health
Fitness Tip:
Get plenty of sleep. You may be tempted to work long hours and rob
yourself of sleep, but sleep researchers are finding new links between
sleep deprivation and diseases every day. Get a good, solid,
uninterrupted 7-8 hours of sleep every night, minimum. If you feel
sleepy in the mornings, that's an indicator you're not getting enough.
Optimal health and fitness depends on your sleep.
Health
Fitness Tip:
Don't forget about mental health. Working at home causes immense stress
on you and on your family; you can minimize it by maintaining your own
serenity. Taking breaks when you're stressed, staying close to your
family, and finding ways to work smarter and manage your time will all
contribute to your mental health and fitness.
Your personal success and your
happiness depend heavily on your overall health level. Take care of
yourself, and the rest of your life may well take care of itself. Learn
to relax because: Only
the casual life is the truly powerful and efficient life.
