That
day atopic eczema entered our
house. When our daughter Eliska reached the tender age of 6 months she started
to develop severe skin rashes on
her hands, scratching herself very often all day long. Within 3 months the
rash spread from her hands to her legs. Constant itching got to the point
where she would cry most of the night, scratching herself so profusely that she
was bleeding real bad.
We sent inquiries to doctors, clinics and dermatologists all over the country.
The only thing all these specialist were able to recommend were cortisone based
ointments, advising us to use it sparingly for it may be detrimental to our
daughter’s health. Most of them were also giving “wise” advice that most eczemas
disappear by the age of three and if not then in teenage years. This theory was
just about as credible and trustworthy as those doctors themselves, after seeing
their waiting rooms packed with eczema plagued adults anywhere from 20 years of
age to 75.

Eli and her pet
We were not willing just to stand
by and watch Eliska scratching and crying all night long for “just” two more
years and if eczema did not go away then mere 10 years more making her a true
champion in scratching herself without bleeding to death. Some comfort, eh?
That’s when my good friend Mr. Internet offered his help to search for a remedy
to heal our Eliska. I sent out dozens upon dozens of inquiries worldwide to
specialists, herbalists, witches, shamans, dermatologist, wizards, doctors, you
name your own. Most answers were the same as before or recommending ointments
with dangerous ingredients in them that only eased the itching but never induced
actual healing.
Until one day! This kind lady Kristen from the United States send a message to
us with suggestions. Knowing from my letter that we were living in Europe at
that time she listed several possibly curing remedies that may be available
where we lived. Only one of them was immediately available in local speciality
health food store. I did not wait another minute returning within an hour with
cool bottle in my hand taken out of the store’s refrigerator, paying
“outrageous” price of $2.75 for it.
Now our next step was to get Eliska to take this oily tasting substance. Mixed
together with milk resulted in Eliska’s suspicion about anything white in the
bottle, mixing it into her favourite soup did not work either. The last resort
was simply parental authority – here is the spoonful of this stuff and you will
swallow it now! Eliska did just that, looked at me with a smile and said: ”Good!
May I have another one? Tastes like nuts.” From that moment on Eliska herself
was asking for what we started to call liquid nuts.
Lo and behold, within 24 hours itching seized to the level of good, night long
sleep for all of us. Within 7 days her infected skin started to peal, falling
off. In 3 more days her new pink and perfectly healthy skin appeared and within
a month she was cured from her debilitating condition never to return. Her then
paediatrician, could not believe the results but was intelligent enough to ask
how we managed to perform a miracle like that and to this day advises about this
remedy to all of her little patients, having our daughter’s case well documented
in her files.
Eliska will turn 8 years old this year and her skin is still as healthy as can
be. To this day we store liquid nuts in our fridge for Eliska occasionally helps
herself as she still loves the taste. How is that for happy ending?!
We never had to try nor use any of the other remedies suggested by Kristen
however should you be interested to know what they are, just write us a short
note requesting “Eliska’s Eczema Remedies” and we will be more than happy to
oblige.
Never try to figure out how to cope with suffering, strive instead to learn how
to terminate it.
From the very bottom of our hearts we thank you Kristen, Ma’am.
